I forgive you: Chapter 32

Harry's POV
When everyone turned to look at me, I sighed. "Mor...tem." I called.

Mortem appeared and gave the diary, Slytherin locket, Gaunt ring, Hufflepuff Cup, and the Ravenclaw Diadem, neatly in front of us.

Tom took the diary and the Gaunt ring.

Severus took the Ravenclaw Diadem and gave it to Ragnok, "Please put it in the Ravenclaw vault. It belongs to the house of Ravenclaw."

Ragnok nodded and said, "I shall ask Griphook to put the Diadem and the cup in their respective family vaults."

We nodded.

"There should be a stone inside the Gaunt ring. It is the Resurrection Stone, one of my hallows. I have put the stone into the ring I wanted to give master. Severus, can you give me the ring I gave you." Mortem said.

Severus gave a ring to Mortem. He put the ring in a chain and placed it around my neck. He tapped the ring, and a stone came out and floated above the ring. "If anyone other than master touches my hallows, they will face a rather nasty curse. I have picked it up from the Peverell family Grimoire." And gave a malicious smile and tapped the ring again so that the stone could go back into the ring. "I shall wait for you to get to the Longbottoms." And disappeared again.

"Shall we go to the Longbottoms now? I reckon poor little Neville is left to his great uncle who is trying his level best to abuse the child." Sirius asked.

We nodded.

"Wait, but before that, we should check if the name in Moiz's inheritance test is changed. I know Moiz's will be changed, but what about the name in Harry's and mine?" Severus asked.

"Do not worry about that, Lord Prince. The moment Lady Magic has accepted the change in the name, all files of any person with the name Tom Marvolo Riddle-Gaunt will be changed to Moiz Maverick Slytherin-Gaunt, if they are OWL and NEWT results, they will show that Tom Marvolo Riddle-Gaunt is dead." Ragnok explained.

We were thankful that Severus got the doubt.

Then, we planned to explain to the Longbottoms about Severus and Moiz being my soulmates and could be Neville's older siblings. Then we would explain what Augusta Longbottom would do to Neville and then tell them about my time travel. Then, we would give them Neville's inheritance test report and ask them to go through them.

With that decision, Severus snatched me from Remus again. Moiz held on to my hand the moment I stretched my hand towards him. We walked out of Gringotts and walked to St. Mungo's and the Janus Thickey Ward.

We could see Augusta sitting beside Frank Longbottom's bed while Neville was left on Alice's bed with no one looking out for him. He was also crying and trying to shake Alice to get her to wake up.

The moment he saw us, though, he stretched his arms towards us. If we looked closer, it was towards me. Augusta, on the other hand, has not even noticed us.

Sirius walked to Neville and picked him up. "Do you want your parents to wake up little Neville?" He whispered to Neville. Neville nodded his head. I knew something was wrong. Neville should not be able to understand what Sirius was saying. He also should not be able to recognize me!

Sirius looked at Remus. Remus nodded and discreetly took his wand out and cast a sleeping charm and silencing charm on Augusta Longbottom.

"Good that she is asleep. Shall we begin, then?" Mortem appeared and asked.

We got used to his sudden appearances and disappearances, but Neville shrieked when he appeared.

He walked to Neville and said, "I am Mortem. The deity Death. Will you allow me to heal your parents?"

Neville looked at Mortem as if he was scrutinizing him and finally nodded.

Mortem must have sensed the doubts running in my head. He turned to me and said, "He also has his memories master. He was also manipulated just like you. I thought he deserved a better life, just like you." I nodded in understanding. Neville deserved a better life. He would also be careful with Dumbledore from now. Two is better than one anyway. I might not remember the incidents in the right order, but he might, and we could help each other out.

Mortem had put both the beds together and started to chant something in Latin. When he was done, he moved them back to their original places. "I shall be leaving now. If you want anything from me, you know how to contact me. Severus and Moiz can also try to summon me, but I might not always answer your calls like I do with master's." And disappeared.

Sirius' POV When we asked Ragnok for our money to be returned, Ragnok gave a predatory smile. Now I understood why my family told the younger generations never to get on the bad side of the Goblin nation. Ragnok then excused himself and said he would be making arrangements to return our money within 24 hours. Mortem had appeared again beside Severus. Severus must have shielded his emotions. Severus' POV After reading Harry's inheritance test, I was fuming. I reckon that is the same issue for Sirius and Remus. Remus' eyes were now completely golden, and he was growling quite nicely.
